Mary, Queen of Scots; the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge; the world’s first assassination with a firearm: there’s a lot to discover at Linlithgow’s new museum.
Fully accessible, the Linlithgow Museum offers a warm welcome, interactive features and an introduction to the town. Our three galleries will help you explore the town’s royal connections, understand its industrial past, and learn what ‘Life by the Loch’ was really like. Exhibitions in our community space will bring you closer to the Linlithgow residents of today.
You will find us in the Linlithgow Partnership Centre on the High Street, close to Linlithgow Palace, St Michael’s Church and the Burgh Halls. Entry is free, but donations are very welcome.
