The Smithy Community Hub is owned and run by the community as a focus for art, crafts, rural skills, activities and sustainable development. In the summer months it includes a Visitor Information Point, staffed by volunteers, a showcase shop for local art, craft, gifts and produce and woodturners studio. All year round there is the unique riverside treehouse venue available for hire, a short all access woodland walk, picnic area, willow dome, Kiki's craft corner which specialises in textile arts and training in spinning, felting, quilting and other textile skills, also the Pop up Pottery in the historic 18C smithy building which runs pottery sessions as a holiday activity and offers people a chance to have a go at throwing a pot. Parking and wifi is available on site.
