Morayvia was formed in 2011 to establish an interactive Science and Technology Centre in Moray. A key objective is to record and commemorate the long and fascinating history of military aviation in Moray.
Based at the heart of Moray's aviation sites, our visitor centre in Kinloss has a number of displays which include a Nimrod Airframe, a Sea King SAR Helicopter together with cockpits from Nimrod, Jet Provost and Vampire aircraft.
Other exhibits include a Former Military Green Goddess Fire Engine, and a Commer Fire Engine.
Run by enthusiastic volunteers and ex servicemen and women, you can learn about our aviation history, and what it was like to be flying in stormy conditions on a rescue mission, or hanging from a winch wire about to land on the deck of a fishing vessel.
Our shop also has a number of excellent gifts and momentos to remind you of your visit, and help support our charity.
Morayvia is now closed for the season and will re-open in July 2021.
