North Coast Watersports provides unforgettable surfing experiences amongst the best waves in the UK where you will see this breathtaking coast from a new perspective. Anyone of any age can grab a board and come out and enjoy the beautiful waters with us and by the end you will be warmed to the heart with stoke and a love for riding waves- our wetsuits are also super cosy.
Our coaches are both Scottish champion surfers who have experience teaching surfing all around the world! We are based at the amazing Dunnet bay which provides perfect learner waves and is just around the corner from Thurso- which is a town that lights up with world class waves in winter. We can also arrange surf trips anywhere along the spectacular north coast.
Try something new or refresh your skills at a beginner group lesson to have guaranteed fun, where our top coaches will teach you all you need to know about safety, equipment and of course how to ride a wave. Or have a private lesson, this options is exclusive and personalised to you! Our wetsuits, surfboards, paddle boards and kayaks can also be hired out. Choose a half day surf trip and you will follow us along some of the most beautiful parts of the North coast 500 while being told cool local stories on the way. We would then carry out a full private lesson at the beach with the best conditions. North Coast Watersports have also partnered up with the Melvich hotel and Store cafe to offer a full 3 day itinerary where you spend your time chasing the waves and exploring along the amazing coast. These days will be filled with waves, yoga, bonfires, adventure and incredible food!!
