Platform 22 is a pottery gallery & licensed coffee house, based at the heart of Torphins village in Royal Deeside. We are a small family business juggling art, microbrewing, cuisine & weekly markets
Platform 22 sits on the former site of Torphins railway station; remnants of the old Deeside line are still evident in the area. It is the perfect place to experience the culture and hospitality of rural Aberdeenshire and discover the rich and diverse heritage of the hills and glens of Deeside.
At the heart of the business is Emma's ceramic artwork, created and made at the bottom of the garden in her studio, which is showcased in Platform 22.
We host Scotland's only weekly outdoor produce & farmers market that runs throughout the year, supporting local business and enterprises. Torphins Market is held in the Platform 22 forecourt every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm .. whatever the weather!
The latest enterprise for Platform 22 is brewing our own beer. Over the last year we have produced a wide range of styles and these are available to drink in house, or you can purchase to enjoy later at home.
Our onsite licensed coffee house has a selection of homemade food and baking.
