Over 500 years of golfing history is displayed in the R&A World Golf Museum. Come and experience the history of golf in a unique location, just yards from the world famous Old Course.

The R&A World Golf Museum is a VisitScotland 5-star accredited attraction, which offers a memorable and fun experience for all the family.

Located in St Andrews, the museum displays over 500 years of golfing history in one of the most comprehensive collections seen anywhere in the world, taking visitors on a journey from the very earliest forms of the game all the way through to the present day, with a glimpse into what the future may hold. Families visiting can access a Children’s Trail and Sensory Backpack for free and there are bookable events for all ages throughout the year. Situated within the galleries is the Learning Room, which provides a space for children to be creative or to enjoy the reading book; it is also, a venue for workshops and regularly hosts Golf Memories meetings for golfing enthusiasts.

Above the museum is The Niblick Restaurant, which provides breakfast options and an all-day dining menu, with a mouth-watering selection of family favourites and indulgent clubhouse classics seven days a week.

The shop sells official merchandise from The Open and other major championships and offers a fabulous selection of gifts from Scottish designers, as well as special St Andrews souvenirs.
