Redwings Mountains rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes horses, ponies and donkeys. The centre is part of the UK's largest horse sanctuary - Redwings Horse Sanctuary - having merged with the charity in January 2015.

Redwings Mountains is based near Forfar in Angus, and is currently home to 85 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys on 220 acres of paddocks and woodland. Residents include donkeys Minnie and Mouse, tiny falabella Dayzee, two sheep called Toffee and Treacle and orphaned foal Gibson Fraser, who was rescued after his mum sadly passed away. He was named in honour of the late Mountains founder Alan Fraser, a former racing driver who developed the Fraser Imp competition car. Mr Fraser went on to be a chairman for the RSPCA in Gibraltar before establishing his own animal rescue centre in the form of Mountains Animal Sanctuary.

Redwings Mountains is currently closed to visitors but hopes to open its doors in early 2016 where you'll be able to explore the beautiful surroundings, meet the friendly residents and enjoy the beautiful and rare wildlife!
