Rockcliffe is a seaside village on the north shore of the Solway Firth.
Rockcliffe is one of a number of villages on the ‘Colvend Coast’. It’s a pretty place with a popular beach and views towards Rough Island and Hestan Island, the former of which is accessible on foot at low tide. Also near Rockcliffe is the Mote of Mark, a Dark Age hill fort that dates from the 5th century.
