Rozelle House Galleries is set in 37 hectares of woodland, which originally belonged to the Hamilton family who also owned three estates in the West Indies. Rozelle was named after one of the Hamilton family estates in Jamaica.
There are also a number of art workshops and classes held at Rozelle House which are open to people of all abilities. Bookings for workshops must be done through reception at Rozelle House before attending.
Rozelle House is home to the Ayrshire Yeomanry museum, Rozelle Craft House and Rozelle Coffee Shop. All three are open to the public during normal opening hours.
The Rozelle Estate plays host to various events throughout the year including the Ayr Flower Show the premier event of its kind in Scotland. Rozelle House Galleries are operated by South Ayrshire Council.
Getting there by railway:- Ayr is accessible by Train starting from Stranraer, Carlisle, Glasgow, Girvan, Kilmarnock and many more. There are taxis and buses available to continue your journey to Rozelle.
Getting there by aeroplane:- The closest airport to Rozelle is Glasgow Prestwick International Airport, which has a direct rail link to Ayr. There are buses and taxis available to continue your journey to Rozelle House Galleries.
Getting there by ferry:- Troon is the closest ferry terminal to Rozelle House Galleries from which the No. 15 & 110 buses from Templehill will take you to Ayr bus station for a connection to Rozelle Estate.
