Whether you're starting out or have lots of experience tracing your family in Scotland, I provide a professional research service to help you find your ancestors, particularly in Glasgow & the West of Scotland. Scottish birth, marriage, death & census records are rich sources of information that I've been using for over forty years.
I regularly research at the Mitchell Library, including Glasgow City Archives, using sources such as poor law records, burial registers, nonconformist church records, and local newspapers. Many of the neighbouring towns and counties have also have excellent archives - Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, and Renfrewshire, to name just a few.
I'm happy to answer any questions you have about my services, so please do get in touch.
