Whether you are a beginner looking for a nice day out or an introduction to sea kayaking, or an advanced sea-kayaker wanting high level coaching or an advanced guided trip, we can cater for all.
Access places you can only get to by kayak, stop on secluded white sandy beaches and explore the stunning varied coastline.
We often paddle directly from Glenuig where we can travel into Loch Ailort and explore the islands which guard its entrance, or we can head out onto the west coast past an abandoned village to 'white sands' with the islands of Rum, Eigg and Muck as a backdrop.
We also regularly use Loch Moidart, where you will paddle right up to a 13th century castle and maybe stop on your own island for some lunch.
Another popular location is to launch near Arisaig village and spend the day exploring the 'skerries', a large cluster of beach encompassed islands at the mouth of the loch with white sand and turquoise water.
On any of our trips you might be lucky enough to see some of the local wildlife in its natural environment.
Seals, otters or sea birds could be waiting around the next corner.
We also get visits from dolphins, basking sharks, whales and eagles, so keep your eyes peeled!
Our base is directly on the shores of the Sound of Arisaig, at the Glenuig Inn. A world famous location for sea kayakers.
We have top quality 'Tiderace' Sea-kayaks, a great drying room and hot showers to return to and the Inn serves delicious local foods and real ales.
