Seamotion is recognised as an RYA Training Centre that runs RYA powerboat courses, as well as RYA Online and Shorebased courses, from our base on the Isle of Skye. We also offer skippered charter and own boat tuition, as well as being able to travel to deliver many of these courses to commercial companies around Scotland.
Courses we offer include:
- Practical powerboat courses - RYA Level 1, 2, Intermediate and Advanced.
- Navigation classroom based courses (RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship, Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore)
- Online short courses required for commercial use of powerboat qualifications (PPR, Safe and Fun)
- RYA VHF Marine Radio license training and examinations
- First Aid courses
- Distance learning navigation courses ( RYA Day Skipper, Yachtmaster Offshore and Yachtmaster Ocean)
Other services we offer include:
- Skippered charter - go out for the day with a boat and driver
- Own Boat Tuition - Training on your own boat allows the training to be tailored specifically to your needs, and we can give input into equipment carried and requirements for commercially coding your boat
