Join us for a day-long wildlife watching adventure around the beautiful Isle of Skye, home to some of Scotland's most famous and wonderful species. Join our very experienced guide and ecologist who has been working for decades in the region and knows where all the birds and animals are likely to spend their time.
Our main targets for your Skyefari tour are what we have called the "Skye Five". These are the golden eagle, white-tailed eagle, red deer, otters and seals, all found around the island in many places. We will do our very best to show you as many of these as possible and of course every day is different so you (and we!) never know what might also turn up as we visit different locations on and off the roads. There might even be the chance of spotting a whale, dolphin or porpoise from some of our shore locations if you are lucky.
Our minibus seats up to 8 passengers and is the perfect size for groups of families and friends therefore. We are very happy to talk about a private charter for your group or even couples or individuals even who would like to have the day and the guide all to themselves.
You will be surrounded by Skye's wonderful scenery of course, from the brooding Cuillin mountains, to strange rock formations, tall sea cliffs and beautiful and wild remote beaches. The view is different around every corner and can include views to the Outer Hebrides, the Small Isles and the West Coast of the Highlands.
In the warmer months we also a offer a very unique 3-hour night-time tour to see what creatures are out and about after dark. You can either book this separately, or arrange to extend your day tour.
Prices range from £90-£150 per person depending on numbers and all tours must be booked in advance please with confirmation by email or telephone.
