Welcome to the Parish of St Mirin's Cathedral, Paisley in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paisley. St Mirin’s Cathedral was built in 1931 to replace the old church in East Buchanan Street. Constituted Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Paisley in 1947. The architect was Thomas Baird and the building is neo-Romanesque in style with an airy arched interior. Visitors should note the sculpted pulpit and Art Deco Stations of the Cross and the twelve angel stained glass windows in the sanctuary.
