This is one of the best courses on offer on Scotland's islands. It is a seaside parkland course that is moderately tight in parts, so anything less than a decent shot may find trouble.
Check the drone footage of Stromness Golf Club in the 'gallery' section below (thanks Scott McIvor).

Here at Stromness Golf Club we welcome visitors and its very much a 'turn up and play' policy - no need to worry about packed courses and 6 hour rounds either, here a fourball can go round in less than 3 hours usually!
The only days which you may not get a game are on the weekends which host the larger club competitions and it can also be busy on weekday evenings when members competitions are taking place (fixture list can be found on our website here)
All weekday mornings and afternoons are definitely available for visitors to play.
Hire clubs are available from the greenkeeper.
Stromness Golf Club also welcomes larger group bookings, please contact the secretary: firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
