First established in February 1996, Sulwath Brewery takes great pride in the production of products which are brewed traditionally using only 100 percent natural ingredients. The softness of the local water also plays a vital role in producing beers that have a rounded and mellow flavour, without the harshness that harder water tends to create.
It's not surprising that Sulwath's beers are now supplied to connoisseur markets as far away as Devon and in the south to Aberdeen in the north.
Entry to the micro brewery and visitor centre includes the tasting of Sulwath's best selling cask ales such as Criffel and Knockendoch, and the brewery's own range of seasonal and speciality beers. Once you have found your favourites take advantage of the chance to buy them from the onsite shop at a discounted price.
Tours of the brewery are available Mondays and Fridays from 1pm.
