One of Scotland’s few independently owned and managed distilleries, The GlenAllachie is led by industry veteran, Billy Walker, who boasts an almost 50-year tenure in whisky. Discover more about the award- winning Speyside single malt Scotch whiskies at our Distillery Visitor Centre.
Since reviving The GlenAllachie Distillery in 2017, Master Distiller Billy Walker has spent endless hours carefully analysing and monitoring the spirit within each and every cask slowly maturing in our 16 on-site warehouses. Once he determines that the spirit has met the perfect balance between wood and distillery influence, Billy proudly puts his name to every single bottle of GlenAllachie sold across the globe.
On our 5-star rated Distillery tours, you will discover the process and passion behind our exceptional whiskies whilst enjoying a dram or two. Visit our website for the latest information on our tour offerings and book your visit today.

Getting here by road:
Located between Aberlour and Ben Rinnes, GlenAllachie is easily accessed from the A95 and in fact the warehouses are actually visible from the road. If heading North towards Elgin then just before you reach Aberlour please turn right onto B road signposted GlenAllachie. If heading South then as you leave Aberlour please drive ½ mile until you see B road on left hand side signposted GlenAllachie. Once on the correct B road you can’t miss us!
If you are unable to participate in the tasting but still wish to try the drams, we will provide you with sample bottles to take home with you.
The nearest train station is Elgin, with regular trains running from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness. To get to GlenAllachie, you can take the Number 36 Dufftown bus to Aberlour town centre, getting off at the Co-operative shop. You can then take a short taxi ride or walk 1.7miles from the town centre up to the distillery.
Alternatively, a taxi from Elgin Train Station will take approximately 30mins, and we have a list of trusted taxi drivers that we would be delighted to put you in touch with.
