The Iona is a newly refurbished and beautifully presented art gallery with a constantly changing programme of exhibitions through from April to October, plus workshops and a pre Christmas fair. The gallery is entirely run by community volunteers from the Society of Badenoch & Strathspey Artists, who lease the building from Highland Council. We are proud to say that we operate the gallery entirely without any public funding yet host travelling exhibitions from the Council's 'arms length' arts organisation without charge. Admission to exhibitions is always free. There is ample free car parking directly opposite and we have facilities to support disabled visitors. Some exhibitions open from 1pm to 5pm, with others for longer periods so check our website for full details of what, and when. The Iona is now the central hub of Kingussie's small town gallery experience, with three private galleries to explore as well.
