North Ayrshire Heritage Centre brings together all aspects of the area's rich history under one roof. Here you will find museum artefacts, a local history library, archives and a genealogy service. Items on permanent display include a 13th century carved stone sarcophagus, fossilised tree trunks, part of a stone celtic cross and a hand operated fire cart. There is also a programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
