The Old Steeple is an amazing medieval tower that has withstood the ravages of fire and invading armies for over 500 years! The ground level is home to a collection of medieval carved stones, which have been the focus of an exciting research project - www.dundee-medieval-stones.aocarchaeology.com
The building is open on selected dates during the summer months for guided tours. There are several fascinating rooms to explore, including the Antiquities Room and the Cap House at the top of the tower. For visitors who aren't afraid of heights, your climb to the top is rewarded with an amazing panoramic view of Dundee city centre.
Please note that the guided tours are strenuous and are not suitable for children under 5 years or visitors with restricted mobility. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
