The Wee Museum of Memory is a reminiscence museum which offers visitors to Edinburgh an experience of living in Scotland in past years. Our Wee Museum contains thousands of everyday objects which are part of Scotland's heritage. The objects are all part of a hands on experience, in fact we are one of the few museums where you won't be asked to put the exhibits down! Visitors to Edinburgh from around the world often find familiar items from their past and its not long before we hear "I remember that" or "We had one of these". For many older visitors memories flood back when they see an old sewing machine or camera while younger visitors are astonished at how long it takes to dial a telephone number. Everyone is welcome to share the experience so whether an individual visitor, family or larger tour group your are welcome. Our staff are always ready for a chat or to answer questions. A guide is available for larger groups if required. Hopefully you'll take away some new fun memories and leave some of your ones with us. The Wee Museum of Memory is a visit you won't forget.
