The Wyllieum sits on the River Clyde within Greenock Ocean Terminal We are home to the Art and ideas of George Wyllie, possibly Scotland's most influential 20th Century artist.

In keeping with Wyllie’s ethos of Art for all, The Wyllieum is a free welcoming space of inspiration and invention, posing questions around what art is and can be.

Home to the largest collection of works by George Wyllie in the world, The Wyllieum sits on the River Clyde in Greenock, showcases Wyllie’s work and legacy and hosts a rolling display of exhibitions and displays of art which connect to Wyllie alongside a permanent collection display showing items from throughout Wyllie's career.

The collection is distributed across 3 gallery spaces on the ground floor including the main exhibition area which has unparalleled views along the Clyde Estuary, a stairwell, balcony and a mezzanine community making space which also features a rolling exhibition programme of local artists.

Our on site shop stocks a wide variety of gift items, books, local products as well as a comprehensive selection of George Wyllie related merchandise.

Scotts Greenock, our partner bar and restaurant, is situated on the first floor and is accessible by lift.
