Threaplands has been part of the local community in Lhanbryde for over 20 years and now, having opened our new Garden Centre, we’re fast becoming a popular tourist spot on the Moray Coast.
Threaplands began life as a landscaping business designing and developing beautiful gardens for customers across the north of Scotland. Set up by two brothers, the family run business has gone from strength to strength opening a Garden Centre and becoming a highly popular location for visitors searching for all kinds of plants, trees and shrubs.
In November 2018 we opened the doors to a custom-built facility, just next door to the old site, where we have added a much larger outdoor space along with an indoor shop and restaurant. Since opening we have received so much praise from our customers who have watched the transformation and have been keen to express their delight at having such an attraction on their doorstep.
The Restaurant provides a range of exciting culinary delights, a long list of hot drink options (our coffees have received nothing but positive reviews!) and our cakes and scones are made by hand by our very own bakery team.
We haven’t forgotten our roots though and the Landscaping arm of the business is still going strong as the team continues to work on a variety of jobs both locally and further afield. The Garden Centre also continues to thrive with many plants and shrubs grown in our polytunnels on our unused site next door.
We’re situated right on the A96 between Lhanbryde and Fochabers so we’re ideally located to stop off and have a wander round the Garden Centre, enjoy a tasty meal in the Restaurant and wander around the covered outdoor area before continuing on your journey.
P.S. Our Macaroni, Chicken Goujons and Homemade Scones are some things to try when you visit!!
