Visit the 'In the Home' Gallery of Skye based professional landscape photographer Tim Wilcock.
Open between 10.00am and 5.00pm each day. Browse a selection of Tim's work, displayed as it would be in your own home.
Just 2 miles from Portree along the B885 Portree to Struan road.
Tim also offers other photography based services such as photo tours of Skye, one to one or group photography tuition and residential workshops.
One to one tuition:
Tuition bespoke to your learning requirements focusing on such things as camera controls, identifying the picture, seeing the light, composition, image capture and use of filters.
The day will be structured so that each person receives sufficient personal time to focus on their learning requirement which can include such things as camera controls, identifying the picture, seeing the light, composition, image capture and use of filters.
Designed for those not requiring tuition but who want to save time and use local knowledge to get to the best locations to capture your own images of Skye, most likely at sunrise and sunset.
Photo Tours of Skye:
Relax and let one Tim be your guide for the day and drive you to some of the best spots to capture your own photographs. The tour will of course encompass some of the iconic locations of Skye, such as the Storr and the Quiraing. Once there you will be guided to just the right place in order to capture your photographs from the same viewpoint a professional would use.
Join the Professional:
Join Tim as he aims to capture his own images of Skye. This will be during the golden hours around sunrise and sunset at which time the light is at its best. Tim will talk you through his process, explaining what he considers the key points to ensure he gets the best from the conditions presented to him. Ask him any questions and try putting it into practise by his side.
Photographer on Board:
Let Tim join your party for the day while on Skye. You provide the transport, Tim will provide the camera. So you get a local resident to guide you, adding value to your day, on top of which your family photos will have that professional touch and you’ll all be in them.
Whatever the length of your visit to Skye, spend some time improving your photography skills or simply arrange for a professional photography to accompany you for the day to take your special holiday images.
