Originally founded in 1962 as a 9 hole golf course, Torvean was extended to a full 18 holes in 1988. Set on the outskirts of the city of Inverness, Torvean Golf Club is a joy to play and comprises approximately 400 acres of well-maintained mature parkland with geologically important Torvean Hill being the central feature.
Nestled in leafy parkland looking onto the Great Glen and the Caledonian Canal, Torvean has one 18-hole golf course, very different in style with small greens and a golfing challenge which attracts many golfing visitors and societies due to its playability factor and ease of walk. The course starts gently with a par three that meanders into a series of par fours, fives and threes evenly balanced with right to left and left to right doglegs. Our course is well maintained and open all year round.
The golf course does not have a practice area and the cost ranges from £25 - £35
