Cycling tours by electric bike are great fun.
We offer a fantastic way to explore the beauty of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in a spectacular part of Scotland. Take in dramatic loch and mountain views, with picnic and cafe stops along the way.
Let the ebike take the strain as you pedal the distance and tackle the hills with ease! Riders of mixed abilities and fitness can ride easily together.
We recommend the Loch Katrine Explorer Tour: 28 miles on a private lochside road, with the possibility of a 10-mile extension for experienced/fast riders.
Embark on a Trossachs adventure through fabulous scenery on the banks of Loch Katrine, which inspired one of Sir Walter Scott’s best known poems ‘Lady of the Lake'.
The virtually traffic-free route hugs the banks of the loch to Brenachoile point (used as a setting in the series Outlander) and onwards to Stronachlachar, with spectacular views up and down the water. A cafe stop at Stronachlachar is a must.
In 2023, we hope to see the steamship SS Sir Walter Scott back on the water, cruising the length of the loch as it has been doing for the enjoyment of visitors for over 100 years.
This wild country was home to Rob Roy MacGregor, Scotland's own Robin Hood folk hero, and is steeped in ancient Clan history. The location also has a more recent fascinating Victorian heritage.
Most people with a standard level of fitness can ride much further on an ebike than on a standard bike and can complete the route comfortably within the time.
We allow time for plenty for stops to hear about the flora and fauna, local history, folklore and legends, to rest a while and appreciate the scenery, to take photos and have refreshments. We even provide some Scottish specialities with local links to sample en route.
Other routes coming later in the year and in 2024.
