Visit Unst Heritage Centre in Haroldswick and discover the unique story of Unst, the northernmost island in the UK.
Unst Heritage Centre is an ideal first stop for anyone visiting the island. Visitors can explore the unique history of Unst through a fine display of artifacts donated by resident both past and present. The exhibitions depict crofting, fishing, geology and there are unique examples of spinning and fine lace knitting, as well as information on family history. On Friday’s visitors can have a go at spinning or knitting the ‘Shetland way’. The Heritage Centre also double up as the island's information point and will provide you with the relevant information for a great time on Unst.
Open 1st May to 30th September from 11am til 4pm Monday to Saturday . Sunday open from 2 till 4pm
