Vanilla Ink the Smiddy - A Centre of Excellence for Silversmithing and Jewellery. We offer classes for all levels of makers in a friendly & welcoming environment. We also have a retail shop selling Designer Scottish Jewellery.

The Smiddy is not-for-profit organisation located in the historic silversmithing town of Banff on the Moray Firth coast. We offer a full range of jewellery & silversmithing classes catering for all levels of jewellery makers. We also have a retail shop selling Scottish Contemporary Designer Jewellery, supporting our creative community of artists.

Banff was an historic centre of silversmithing for over 200 years and Vanilla Ink have re-introduced the craft, based in our beautiful studio, a former blacksmiths building in the town centre.
