The Muir Hub is at the heart of Muir of Ord, and of village life. Opened in 2017 it has quickly become the meeting place for local people, community groups and visitors - an excellent place to get a flavour of the life of the local community.
Cafe Artysans@theHub is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 to 4.30. Come along and try some delicious fresh baked scones and cakes, light meals and a range of speciality teas and coffees. Play materials can be borrowed for entertaining your children during your visit. The building is fully accessible, including push button door opening at the main entrance and induction loops.
Come and join us at events advertised on our Facebook page (facebook.com/themuirhub/) - films, music sessions, talks, children's activities. Usually you'll find local art work on display in the foyer and/or an exhibition on a subject of local interest.
Further inspiration and information about the area, its activities and attractions can be found on the constantly changing noticeboard and leaflet display stand. Free internet access is available.
The Muir Hub is run by the local social enterprise set up to manage community facilities, with the cafe tenanted by another social enterprise which supports young people into employment.
