Jeanne offers short courses or workshops in the unique watercolour white-line printing technique. These workshops usually last about 3 hours and can easily be fitted into a holiday. They are offered only on Thursdays from May – September and can be arranged for October - April. No art experience is required as the process is straightforward. Each participant will complete at least one mounted print and take home the carved board with extra printing paper to keep on printing! Even tea and chocolates are included in the cost of the workshop! Because of some new twists that Jeanne has added, you will actually be creating an “Orkney Print.”
Jeanne and Graham Muir of Gramble Glass, have collaborated on fused glass pieces. These fired and fused designs are a combination of Jeanne’s designs and Graham’s glass skill. The standing or hanging glass pieces are unique in design. ArtWorks of the Earth has the largest and is the sole distributor of the collection in Orkney. Castaway Crafts in Dounby and The Loft Gallery also have some for sale.
