We are Mathilde and Jonathan, two Artisan Kiltmakers and Tartan Designers working from our home based studio in Edinburgh. Learn more about kiltmaking and tartans during our workshops!

We are both traditionally trained as artisan kiltmakers and we specialise in creating bespoke, fully hand-stitched kilts, with a modern approach.

Fully committed to our craftmanship, we are keen to share our passion and art with visitors: We offer private workshops about kilts and tartans. This is a unique experience, where you can learn more about the History of Highland dress and tartan in Scotland, from the Feileadh-mor (great kilt) depicted in Outlander, to contemporary tailored kilts!

Create your own tartan with our tartan design service! We use our knowledge and experience to create unique tartans that will make striking kilts and garments.
