Colinton Arts, est 1981, is an Edinburgh-based, family-run Gallery, Framer and Art Restorer. Our aim is to provide an outstanding art experience, offering the best service to our clients and the brightest talent to our customers.
We shake things up.
But we also do boring and predictable. That’s very reassuring. We do exactly what we say we will.
We don’t overpromise or over price, we keep on doing what we said we would. If boring and predictable is what our customers want, that’s what we’ll do. Or intense and exciting.
Because having more happy customers means we get to do even bigger things.
But we don’t just want customers, we want advocates. We want people to be so happy with their art that they can’t wait to tell their friends and family about us.
And we don’t think or act like most galleries. We’re taking a fresh approach.
SHOWCASING THE VERY BEST
It all starts with the artist. It’s amazing what you find out when you just listen. We ask questions and get inside their heads. We learn what it’s like to walk in their shoes.
We don’t rest until we’ve found artworks you’ll be proud to call your own. It’s only if we’re happy that we’ll work successfully with our artists to get their work in front of you.
Our shows present the very best of local and regional talent, often sharing exclusive paintings, prints or sculptures you won’t find in galleries elsewhere. Plus, did you know we’re also a well-established professional framer? We’ve been framing some of Scotland’s top artists for over 20 years now. You name it, we frame it!
