The oldest retailer in Bridge of Allan, established in 1851, the only pharmacy for miles to offer a unique step back in time.
Established in 1851, Strathallan Pharmacy is without a doubt, the oldest retailer in the beautiful victorian spa town of Bridge of Allan. We are very proud of our original victorian fixtures and fittings. We still use our original apothecary drawers and there are original apothecary poison bottles on display too.
The original pharmacist Mr GIlbert Farie was the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's Mr Hyde in the tale of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Call in to take a step back in time.
