Simple, honest, fresh food. Good for the soul.
Tayside Forestry is well known for its Christmas trees, but in recent years our reputation is growing for our coffee and home baking. To begin with the Pine Cone Café and Gift Shop were open just for the festive season but, due to demand, we are now spreading the joy all year round!
Our café features all sorts of yummy reasons to drop in – Slices of Victoria Sponge and slabs of chocolately traybakes; tasty soups and delicious paninis; freshly made crepes with Nutella, jam, maple syrup or traditional lemon and sugar; toasted teacakes and freshly baked scones … Need I say more?
With menus ranging from breakfast, brunch and lunch through to afternoon tea and choices on the daily-changing board reflecting what is fresh and seasonal on the day, it’s no wonder we have built up a loyal following. What’s more, because we are family run, we understand the challenges of eating with little ones in tow. Our children’s lunch offers great value and our gingerbread men and hot chocolates are a firm favourite with little ones.
Visitors to Pine Cone Café are easily distracted – as they sip their cappuccinos you can see their eyes scanning the gorgeous gifts in our shop that surround them. At Christmas our shop is a magical wonderland full of Christmas decorations that will truly be treasured. From the traditional charm of a country Christmas to the hottest new trend of in sorbet shades, we've a Christmas theme for every taste. We really are your one stop shop for baubles and decorations; wreaths and garlands; lights; room and table decorations; wrapping paper, ribbons and bows; Christmas candles; advent calendars; stockings and sacks; cards and crackers and of course the centrepiece of Christmas ... the tree.
Our gift range changes with the seasons but I’m afraid that in spring, summer and autumn is no less tempting that over the festive period!
Pine Cone Café has become well known for the warmth of the welcome from our friendly team and the great value for money that we offer. Why not drop in and see for yourself.
