Aberdeenshire Bird Tours offer bespoke birdwatching trips around the North East of Scotland. Options include anything from a couple of hours local birding around Aberdeen, through half day and up to day trips.
The North East of Scotland is blessed with a wide variety of different habitats, from the Cairngorms in the West, through to miles of spectacular coastal cliffs and beaches. These different habitats provide homes for numerous species of birds, both resident and migrants.
Tours and trips can be arranged to suit anyone from novice birdwatchers to more experienced individuals. Itineraries can be tailored to suit, but some ideas for trips include:
- Day trips to search out target species, or to visit particular habitats
- Visits to local birding sites
- Shorter trips to look at specific species i.e. Puffins, goose roosts or other seasonal specialities.
Transport is provided, with group size limited to a maximum of 3 people to ensure that everyone has the best opportunity to see everything on the day. Larger groups can be accommodated, but would have to provide their own transport.
