On the way to the UK’s most northerly point Dunnet Head we visit Brough Harbour to watch the seals and birds and appreciate the rugged coastline.
We then drive to Ham where we can take a stroll along the shore in search of the elusive Groatie Buckie or Cowrie.
Onwards and upwards to spectacular Dunnet Head to embrace the views across the Pentland Firth towards Orkney. From April to August we can observe our local colony of puffins nesting on the dramatic sea cliffs.
