Scotland's one and only Endangered castle

Castle Sinclair Girnigoe

Aye Tours Scotland: Taste of the Far North - Caithness [Private Day Tour]

So much to see so little time? Your experienced local Tour Guide will get you to the best places up to Wick. You will be covering the first 100 miles of the NC500 along the Eastern seaboard.

You Can Be Here.

Distinct from the rest of the Highlands, Caithness is fringed with dramatic coastal scenery of a strong Viking heritage. The scenic drive up North will take you to a winding road over the Berriedale Brae past Sutherland into Caithness. See the terrain change into flat rolling farmlands. Visit 5000 year old Neolithic tombs. Challenge yourself to climb 365 steps along a cliff to a naturally formed harbour. Take a lunch break at Wick and find the Route 500 Scotland sign. Hike out to the only endangered castle in Scotland. A trip to a local distillery is a must. Get acquainted with interesting stories of Highland Culture, Tartans, Kilts, Folklore and more.

This is a popular tour with NC500 travelers. Book ahead of time to secure your tour date.

We look forward to welcoming you.
