"Braveheart country", Stirling Castle, the battlefields of Bannockburn a visit to Doune Castle, iconic Highland cattle, Rob Roy country and a taste of the "Water of Life".

This allows you the opportunity to see a bit of everything. Your day starts heading Northwest towards Stirling, "Braveheart country" and the battlefields of Bannockburn, where on the 23rd & 24th of June 1314 King Robert "The" Bruce defeated the armies of Edward II. Back on board and up to the "Key to the Highlands" Stirling castle high on its volcanic plug of rock. After our photo stop we head over the plains of Stirling and a visit to Doune castle. Continuing on we head towards the village of Callander, noted for the Romans, Rob "Roy" MacGregor, Civil War. Then it's into Scotlands first National Park "The Trossachs", a virtually unchanged landscape made famous by the writings of Sir Walter Scott, over the "Dukes Pass" to the Victorian village of Aberfoyle and lunch. Continuing our journey we now head to Deanston Distillery and an opportunity to take a 1 hour tour & tasting before returning to Edinburgh
