A tour with walks. Boating across Lochleven to its castle, walk to waterfalls near Falkland before spending the afternoon walking the fine Fife coast with its very picturesque seaside towns.Pickup from Edinburgh or Perth. This tour is by request.

Day's Itinerary:

.    Boat trip on Loch Leven visiting a castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned.

·       Visit the very attractive Falkland village for a walk around and visit waterfalls. Grading: Easy on paths, wet rocks under the waterfall. Distance: 2.5kms Height gained: 65m

·       Option instead of walk is take a tour of the opulent, antique furnished Falkland Palace, the summer residence of the Stuart Kings with a very curious, ancient indoor tennis court set in one of Scotland’s quaintest towns. Palace tour extra £12.50 or £9 concessions.

·    Packed Lunch - please bring your own.

·       Continue the coastal tour along Fife’s south coast for coffee.

·       Coastal walk section. Grading: Easy walk along coastal path. Distance: 5km. Height Gained: 55m

·       Return via the picturesque seaside villages of Elie & Lower Largo back to base.
