Last year, 2017, was the 250th anniversary of the adoption of James Craig's plan for a 'planned, élite suburb' which would eventually separate Edinburgh into 'Old' and 'New' Towns. To celebrate, Greenyonder Tours collected stories of some of the people who made the New Town - from the architects and builders, servants and high heid yins, to gardeners and radical campaigners.
This year, we are extending the route of this tour to explore a little further into what's called the Second New Town, down Dundas and Howe Streets.
