Our full day boat trip often heads down to the Shiant Isles, where we increase the possibilities of encountering whales and dolphins, as well as other wildlife such as sea eagles and puffins.
Following a short briefing, we will leave Stornoway Harbour. From here, we take our vessel, MV Monadhliath, out into the wildlife rich waters of the Minch.
With our experienced crew aboard, they will use their knowledge to search the local hot-spots for whale and dolphin activity.
We will spend approximately 6 to 7 hours out at sea watching out for all types of marine life and marvelling at the abundance of seabirds around us.
The magical Shiant Isles are often our target, but exciting wildlife sightings from shore-based spotters may take us elsewhere!
Please bring your own packed lunch but we have hot drinks and biscuits available on board.
