Our new adventure will take you off the beaten track and beyond where most people ever wander. We will lead you through stunning moorlands, along incredible coastlines and through the small communities that make these islands so precious.

Fly from Glasgow to Benbecula on Loganair and meet your local guide. After check-in at our accommodation, we then head out for a hike into the moorlands and take you to ancient standing stones, through a small forest and finally to an old burial chamber dating back to almost five thousand years before heading back to our evening's accommodation.

Day 2 - The World of an IslandOur day begins with a trip along the west coast of Uist and onto the beautiful fertile plains called Machair which in summer boast more than 150 different species of wildflower. We walk in search of wildlife and through the crofting landscape to learn a bit more about this incredible place, the environment and its Gaelic culture. We will visit a small harbour and tides permitting walk out onto an incredible tidal beach to a remote island where we will search for otters and other wildlife. On our way back to our accommodation we will look for seals and visit the beautiful island of Berneray and learn about its incredible history.

Day 3 -Up SouthWe head today to the beautiful islands of Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay or as the locals say "up south". Today we look for wildlife, visit local craft places, ancient archaeology and follow in the footsteps of Binnie Prince Charlie who landed here in 1745. There are plenty of stories to be told today and some of the most breathtaking views over the barra sound and along the beautiful west coast.

Day 4 - Harris and LewisOur journey continues as we set sail for a short ferry trip to the stunning Isle of Harris where we visit a Harris Tweed weaver before getting a true flavour of the Hebrides with a wonderful Gin tasting. We lunch overlooking the Atlantic before making our way through the high mountains and to the North of the Hebrides and the large island of Lewis. We make our way to the stunning westside for two nights.

Day 5 -Wonders of LewisLewis is a vast island full of fascinating small crofting villages, incredible archaeology and views and today we head out to visit the famous Callanish Stones, the Carloway Broch, Gearannan Thatch Village, Uig sands and the Blue Lagoon. We get close to wildlife and learn about the unique island lifestyle before finishing back in the small town of Stornoway.

Day 6 - End of TourAfter a relaxed breakfast, with time to spare before heading to the airport, we have a short trip to the town. We then take you to the airport and bid farewell to the Hebrides. As you leave these islands we wish you safe passage and look forward to your return in the near future.
