Explore three of the best sites in the Scottish Highlands - Eilean Donan Castle, Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness - along with stunning and dramatic scenery!

Our tour begins at Inverness where we journey along the banks of Loch Ness to explore the medieval ruins of Urquhart Castle, once one of Scotland's largest castles. Here you discover its ancient past from the Wars of Independence and English invaders to raiding Highland clans (the Macdonald Lords of the Isles) and its eventual demise after the first Jacobite uprising.
At Eilean Donan Castle, the ancestral home of the Clan Macrae, we explore the castle’s ancient and historic past as well as savouring the wonderful Highland views around the castle. Leaving Eilean Donan Castle we take a detour across to Dornie for a beautiful castle panorama view. Finally, we head up past Carrbrae for a last glimpse of the castle with the Isle of Skye in the distance before our return to Inverness.
This tour is a great way to experience a wonderful combination of ancient Highland history, heritage and culture with stunning scenery and dramatic landscapes. Along with all the photo and viewpoint stops, we have around 1½ - 2 hours at both Eilean Donan Castle and Urquhart Castle.
