Inverness Bike Tours aim to show visitors to Inverness the natural beauty of the City and surrounding waterways, we use easy to ride cruiser bikes for added comfort and balance. Our Waterways tour takes just over 2 hours.
Our Waterways tour takes us on cycle paths,canal towpaths and some minor roads. The tour leaves the city following the River Ness and we ride through the Ness Islands on route to the Inverness Botanical Gardens where we stop for 20 minutes to view the Greenhouses and Gardens we continue on to the Caledonian Canal where we ride along the towpath to the Muirtown Locks where we can sometimes see them in operation we follow the Canal to the only Nature Reserve in the Highlands where it is possible to view otters, dolphins and various birds. We take in the views of the Beauly and Moray Firths before heading back to the city along the River Ness.
The tour takes just over 2 hours on Flat cycle and Canal paths with a very small section on minor roads. Small groups of no more than 10 people.
Tours go 3 times per day 10am, 1pm and 4pm. Booking is essential. Email to check availability.
