The remote Island of Iona has been sacred for millennia, and since St Columba founded a monastery there in the 6th century to spread Christianity to Scotland, this tiny dot in the Atlantic has been an important site of pilgrimage and prayer.

This magical green isle surrounded by tranquil blue waters attracts pilgrims to this day who make the journey for spiritual reasons, but its remote tranquillity, with a gorgeous historic abbey and sweeping views, captures the hearts of all those who make the effort to visit.

This journey begins by ferry from Oban, takes you across the most scenic parts of Mull, then to a passenger ferry to Iona. It’s quite an adventure, but well worth the time and much easier and more relaxing to do with our door to door service.
