Our very popular half day (2 hour) kayaking trips in single sit on top kayaks around Eilean Donan near Skye. Eilean Donan Castle is the most iconic of all the Scottish castles, to paddle around its impressive structure will make your visit to Scotland the most memorable ever. Add to this the impressive mountain scenery of Kintail. The views will make the perfect family photograph, with the castle as a backdrop.

Enjoy a wonderful paddle round the iconic Eilean Donan. Eilean Donan is recognised as one of the most iconic Castles of Scotland, renowned all over the world. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by some majestic scenery, it is little wonder that the castle is now one of the most visited and important attractions in the Scottish Highlands. It has appeared in many films, including Bonnie Prince Charlie (1948), Highlander (1986), Entrapment (1999) and James Bond - The World is Not Enough (1999). 

Enjoy a wonderful, relaxed experience with our experienced, knowledgeable guides. 

You will be welcomed by our guide at the jetty area where the full experience will be explained to you. Following this you will be issued with a buoyancy aid, paddle and kayak. After a few minutes to adjust your equipment, we all head out onto the water. 

You can choose a morning or afternoon paddling experience and the pace can be as slow or fast as you choose, there is plenty of wildlife to spot and coastline to explore. 

Experienced local guides. Cost includes hire of kayak, paddle, buoyancy aid and instruction. Please bring along waterproofs and spare shoes as these will get wet. Have a set of dry clothes and a towel in your car in case you get wet. 

Your safety is our priority. 

Toilets are available in the Dornie Community Hall where you park for this activity.
