Tour Plan

Meet and greet - 9.30am

Once your picked up from Stirling train Station where we'll introduce you to the tour and make sure you're ready to head to Loch Katrine's Primrose Hill. Along the way to Loch Katrine you pass by Callander, a popular town near Stirling.

Arrive at Loch Katrine Pier

As you arrive at Loch Katrine's carpark this is your first chance to see the loch, and your last chance for a public toilet until we arrive back at the carpark. Here we pack our essential items and make our way to Primrose hill skirting around the Loch itself. Before reaching the Hill's path we stop for a couple points of interest, discover the islands and how they were once used by locals of the past, hear about Brave Ellen a story told by her great great grandson in 1802. The Hill itself only takes 15-20 minutes to reach where you're greeted by the loch in all its glory

Lunch

At the top of the hill's edge, just before you head back down the hill you stop for a well deserved lunch as I get the kettle on for tea. Sitting on the hill's edge the views are absolutely stunning with many mountains that surround you including the beautiful loch itself.

The walk back

Navigating our way down through the lush forest we come to our final stop - Brenachoile point here you'll sit and relax with tea & biscuits. You'll be able to get some fantastic shots of the Loch here. Brenachoile Point was also filming location for the TV series Outlander.

Coming home.

We make it back to the car park, and dust ourselves off before driving you back to Stirling train Station where we say our farewells for now.
