Loch Lomond.
Loch Lomond - Half Day Tour.
We set off for Loch Lomond from Glasgow at approximately 8am. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park boasts some of the most beautiful views in Scotland, and there will be photo opportunities along the way.
Our first stop will be at Balloch Country Park, where there will also be a chance to visit Balloch Castle. Both the park and Balloch Castle were built by John Buchanan, a partner in the Glasgow Ship Bank. Although the castle is now derelict, it still makes an impressive spectacle in the 200 acre park.
From here, we will travel to Luss. There will be the opportunity to explore Luss village, which has several excellent souvenir shops, and a stunning stretch of beach.
After this, we will head to Ardlui Hotel and Marina, to settle rumbling stomachs with lunch (not included) and beautiful views across the marina and loch. Post lunch we will head back to Glasgow, arriving at approximately 2pm.
