Outlander Day & Multi-Day Tours

Outlander features iconic and beautiful Scottish locations and with Highland Tours Perthshire you can enjoy visiting some of these locations, allowing you to connect with the universe of Jamie & Claire.

This tour focuses on locations in and around Perthshire. The first visit of the day is to Tibbermore, in Perthshire, Crannesmuir Church in season 1, where the witch trials took place and you can stand in Claire’s and Geillis’s footsteps in the pulpit before exploring the old graveyard.

Next, we will drive to Drummond Castle, the gardens and orchard of the Palace of Versailles in season 2 and enjoy and explore these stunning gardens. A great spot for photos and a chance to absorb this wonderful part of Perthshire.

Following lunch, we drive on to Doune Castle the home of Colum MacKenzie, Castle Leoch in season 1, where you can enjoy a tour of the castle and learn about the history of this Medieval stronghold, built by the ‘uncrowned King’.

The last visit of the day is to Deanston Distillery, the wine warehouse in season 2 belonging to Jamie’s cousin. Take a tour behind the scenes and learn how the ancient art of whisky making is still continuing, followed by a whisky tasting.
