Jo has been privileged to live and work in Orkney on and off since 1979, and has been told by native Orcadians that she's an “Honorary Orcadian”. She met her husband-to-be in the Staff Room of Kirkwall Grammar School and they were married in St Magnus Cathedral in 1983. All the family has a passion for Orkney and take pleasure in sharing that love with others.
Orkney is a varied archipelago of 70 contrasting islands from sandy beaches to rugged cliffs but our archaeological sites are testament to over 5000 years of history, our landscape is spectacular and we are proud of our flora and fauna. There are numerous festivals throughout the year and an active arts and crafts scene. The wonderful light is idyllic for photographers and artists. Whatever your interests, Orkney has something to offer you, whatever your level of activity, throughout the year.
Jo looks forward to welcoming you to and guiding you around her wonderful homeland.
